said no, that would not happen. What's to keep that from

wedding, gotten married, went on our honeymoon, rented a moving
truck and moved 5hrs south into a new house. Things have been a
bit tight, lol.
I don't get this whole economic stimulus package. Other than
that Bush is trying to win some brownie points before his term
ends. I don't see how giving people a few bucks really helps when
the real problem is that the economy is in the toilet. Rather than
handing out a small token freebie, they need to be doing this to
actually, oh, I dunno.... create new jobs, etc.

believe we'll be giving it all right back to the guberment. Even
the people who didn't get a stimulus bonus (like me) will be paying
it back.

camera, preferably before August so I can use it at my brother's
wedding. :)

people who are in debt are going to use it to pay bills, especially
credit card bills.
(Since I'm going to lunch...) If you filed a tax return for year
2007 and had sufficient adjusted gross income (but not too much)
then you should get a stimulus payment. I believe you had to have a
tax liability that year of at least $600, and an adjusted gross
income of less than $75,000, to get the maximum $600 payment (for a
single filer with no kids).
If you owe back taxes, child support, or federal student loans,
you will also not get the full amount.
If your tax return was direct deposited to your account then you
will receive the rebate the same way. Other wise you will get a
check. On the link I posted you can see the section on Payment
Schedule for when you can expect some money.

IRS said I would get mine direct deposited May 9. Nope.
Of course the fine print said I might not. Sweet. At least they covered themselves.
